Where to Watch California Primary Election Results and Coverage Live Online

Local news stations across California are covering primary election updates and results as they come in live on Tuesday, June 2, although, as in years past, final election results likely won’t be called for several days. Local affiliates for ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and The CW vary by region, but in Los Angeles and the surrounding area, channels include ABC7 (KABC-TV), NBC4 (KNBC), KTLA, KCAL 9/CBS LA (KCAL-TV) and FOX 11 (KTTV).

For cord-cutters, local news coverage can be streamed live on any TV streaming service that carries said networks, namely DirecTV (with a five-day free trial), Fubo (with a five-day free trial), Hulu + Live TV and Sling (area dependent). Learn more about each option (and their free trials) below.

DirecTV

Five-day free trial; packages from $19.99 per month

Local news stations are included in any of DirecTV’s signature packages: Entertainment, Choice, Ultimate or Premier. Plus, DirecTV is offering a five-day free trial for its streaming service, meaning new subscribers can tune into election updates and results at no cost.

Learn more about each plan option, including how to build your own channel lineup (starting at just $19.99 per month), at directv.com. Be sure to check local channel availability as it can vary by region.

Sling

Plans from $4.99

While Sling TV is one of the most wallet-friendly alternatives to traditional cable, it’s important to note that local channel availability depends on your TV market. L.A. does, however, have access to local channels on Sling, namely ABC, FOX and NBC. Note that Sling does not offer CBS access in any location.

Visit Sling.com to check local channel availability and package options, starting as low as $4.99 per day or $19.99 per month.

Three-day free trial; packages from $89.99 per month
