Phoebe Bridgers is taking her pop-up concerts from intimate stages to the world’s most famous arena, as the beloved indie singer-songwriter announced a surprise show at Madison Square Garden slated for June 4.

Bridgers revealed the pop-up show on Monday on Instagram, sharing shots of fliers posted around the city with details about the gig. Tickets are going for just $1, and fans can register for the ticket sign up through 11:59 p.m. ET tonight. Proceeds from the show are going to the Community Justice Exchange’s National Bail Fund Network, and fans can choose to donate when they register, though a donation doesn’t increase your odds at getting tickets.

Bridgers’ MSG show comes about a month after she played a surprise show in Roswell, New Mexico at The Liberty, where she debuted new music. Since then, she’s played a slate of intimate shows in smaller markets including Lubbock, Texas, Little Rock, Arkansas and Jackson, Mississippi among others. Madison Square Garden will mark her first larger full-scale show in a major touring market since 2023.

Bridgers’ fans have been waiting for a new album from her for years, as she hasn’t released a solo album since 2020’s lauded Punisher, which earned three Grammy nominations. Her last release of any kind was The Record from supergroup Boygenius, which consists of Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker. That album earned the group seven Grammy nominations, winning for best alternative music album and best rock song for “Not Strong Enough.”

Outside of music, Bridgers is also making her film debut later this year in A24’s Primetime, starring alongside Robert Pattinson.
