David Beckham was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, recognising not only his achievements on the football pitch but also his broader impact on sport, business and popular culture.
Naturally, the Beckham family turned out in force for the occasion.
Tough Sell
Romeo Beckham opted for a brown suit, but I’m not entirely convinced by the double-breasted silhouette on him. Between the boxy proportions and the fit through the trousers, the look never quite settles. There is a good suit in here somewhere, but this cut feels like it is wearing him rather than the other way around.
Following In Mum’s Footsteps
At 14, Harper Beckham continues to favour the slip-style dresses, designed by her mother, that have become something of a signature.
Keeping It Classic
David Beckham took the safest route for the occasion, opting for a sharp, timeless navy suit.

Her Own Best Advertisement
Victoria Beckham wore a dress from her own Resort 2027 collection styled with her Harlow Mesh Halter Back sandals in a deep purple hue. Victoria remains her own best advertisement. The sleek silhouette and rich colour felt entirely in keeping with the aesthetic she has spent years refining. I’m glad she opted against wearing a suit on this occasion.
Britpop Ease
Cruz Beckham’s look was easily my favourite of the group. While everyone else leaned into more formal dressing, Cruz brought a laid-back attitude that felt effortless. The relaxed tailoring and easy styling reminded me of the kind of off-duty looks you would have seen on musicians during the 1990s Britpop era, when dressing up often looked better with a little bit of nonchalance. His approach felt refreshingly relaxed.
