KUALA LUMPUR, July 3 — China’s Dear You remains No. 1 at the local box office, continuing its impressive run in Malaysian cinemas.

Meanwhile, Hollywood releases Toy Story 5, Obsession, and Supergirl have been drawing plenty of attention, but none has managed to dethrone Dear You from the top spot.

On streaming platforms, I Will Find You has climbed to No. 1 on Netflix, while Reborn Rookie continues to lead on Viu, and Doctor on the Edge is among the top titles on Disney+.

As July gets underway, more films and series are set to arrive in cinemas and on streaming platforms, alongside fresh music climbing Spotify’s charts and new book releases for readers to discover.

From what’s dominating the box office and streaming charts to the latest music releases and new books worth checking out, Malay Mail rounds up everything making headlines in entertainment this week.
