West Hollywood, CA (The Hollywood Times) – Prepare for liftoff! Girlactic Music Fest is returning to the legendary Whisky a Go Go on Thursday, August 6, 2026, bringing another electrifying night of women-led rock, colorful fashion, cosmic energy and plenty of pink-powered surprises.

The Hollywood Times is thrilled to return as a media partner and once again cover this wildly imaginative celebration of women in music. The festival will run from 6 p.m. until midnight, filling the iconic Sunset Strip venue with eight bands, backstage excitement, merchandise, giveaways and a full-scale space-themed experience.

Hosted by the incomparable Kitten Kay Sera, internationally known as the Pinkest Person in the World, Girlactic Music Fest is more than another concert—it is an immersive celebration of individuality, creativity and women who know how to command a stage.

Eight Bands Ready for Liftoff

The Whisky a Go Go’s official event listing confirms that Kitten Kay Sera will host the evening, with doors opening at 6 p.m.

At the center of the cosmic celebration will be Kitten’s own band, Pinktastic Plastixx, delivering its unmistakable combination of music, fashion, humor and unapologetic pink rebellion. Kitten has always believed that a concert should feel like a complete event rather than simply a collection of performances—and Girlactic promises to deliver that philosophy in spectacular fashion.

Meet the Girlactic Girls

Returning to help bring the festival’s intergalactic fantasy to life are two glamorous atmosphere models known as the Girlactic Girls.

Throughout the night, they will be serving up futuristic looks, interacting with guests and helping fans explore the official Girlactic merchandise. Their cosmic costumes and larger-than-life presentation will add another visual dimension to a night already overflowing with personality.

After making such an impression during the previous festival, the Girlactic Girls were invited back for an encore appearance.

Two Pink Guitars Will Find New Homes

Girlactic Music Fest will also give guests the chance to take home two fabulous pink guitars.

One guitar has been donated by Airline Guitars, while the second comes from Daisy Rock Guitars, a company long associated with encouraging and empowering female musicians.

The giveaways perfectly capture the spirit of Girlactic: bold, playful, musical and very, very pink.

From promotional surprises to dazzling fashion and backstage activity, there will be something happening in nearly every corner of the venue.

A Partnership That Supports Women in Music

The Hollywood Times is proud to support Girlactic Music Fest as a returning media partner.
