A former British model’s dream about having breast cancer saved her in real life — and now she is set for her Hollywood debut.

Kate Tickle, 42, discovered the deadly disease last May when she saw herself having a lump in a dream. “The dream was so vivid, so I went to the doctors,” she told the Daily Mail.

The doctors could not immediately diagnose the cancer as she had seen in the dream but her instinct told her to not leave any stones unturned.

“They couldn’t feel a lump, but I did a mammogram, and that is when they discovered something was going on,” said Tickle, who is married to British record producer and engineer David Tickle since 2019.

Following the diagnosis, she went through chemotherapy in November last year and a few months later in May, she got the call from Hollywood.

She will be seen in the upcoming film –– “Armani: The King of Fashion” –– playing the role of the iconic fashion designer’s personal assistant, who died from liver failure in September, aged 91.

“Don’t stop dreaming. Cancer may change your past, but it doesn’t have to take away your hopes for the future,” said Tickle.

She credits Andrea Iervolino for her life’s second innings. “When I told Andrea everything I had been through and how I wanted to inspire my four boys and anyone going through similar things, he wanted to make it happen.”

It was almost three decades ago when cancer first knocked on her door. In 1997, Tickle’s brother Chris was battling Leukaemia and the search for a bone marrow match became a desperate race against time.

Tickle, who was only 14 at the time, turned out to be the “perfect match” that Chris needed to survive, according to her IMDb page. She stepped up and underwent the high-stakes transplant and her brother was cured.

After receiving a Bravery Award from the House of Commons, she transformed into a powerhouse advocate, campaigning as an Ambassador for the Anthony Nolan Bone-Marrow Trust to save lives

Tickle is now cancer-free and full of life. The former British Grid Girl for Mercedes McClaren hopes that those facing similar challenges are also able to find their happiness amid the somber reality.

“I want other people who receive the news [that] they have cancer, or any other life-changing circumstance, to keep believing there is life after treatment and joy after fear, and that they are stronger than they know,” she told the Mail.
