PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A local film screening hits Hollywood Theatre this summer.
The award-winning short, ‘Waking up from a nap on a long day of doing nothing,’ follows a young painter guided by his best friend and a mystical grandfather on a “surreal skateboard odyssey” through more than a dozen Portland locations ahead of his first gallery show.
It stars Portland’s Anthony Hudson and was funded by over 75 local donors and 30 local business sponsors.
Joining us in the studio on Monday was Thom Hilton, the director of the short film.
