Kellan Lutz had his breakthrough as Emmett Cullen in The Twilight Saga movies.
In all five films, Emmett was a fellow vampire and adopted brother to Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen.
Appearing on Michael Rosenbaum’s podcast Inside Of You, Kellan discussed his family moving to Tennessee three years ago.
He explained the benefits: “We got some land, got great Bible studies that we’re a part of, great churches, great community.”
Kellan also outlined how he and wife Brittany opted to make the move to Franklin, Tennessee for family reasons.
The couple left Orange County, California – where Brittany was born and raised – as they welcomed their second child.
Although Kellan said Brittany hopes to return to Orange County at some point – or for the family to maintain a home in both places.
They married in November 2017, only a month after revealing their engagement.
Away from Twilight, Kellan’s other films include The Expendables 3, Stick It and What Men Want.
He also played the main role of Special Agent Kenny Crosby in police procedural FBI: Most Wanted.
