His closest friend is Cliff Booth, Rick’s longtime stunt double, whose own career has largely come to an end. While Rick continues to enjoy a comfortable life in Hollywood and lives next door to Roman Polanski and Sharon Tate, he searches for meaningful acting opportunities with Cliff by his side. As the story progresses, Rick and Cliff unexpectedly find themselves drawn into events involving the Manson Family.
