Who needs flowers? Miley Cyrus is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday May 22. Actress Anya Taylor-Joy and fashion designer Donatella Versace will speak at the star ceremony, which will be emceed by iHeart Media personality Ellen K (who received a star in 2012).

Cyrus’ star – the 2,845th to be presented – will be located at 7011 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood. The ceremony, at 11:30 a.m. PT, will be streamed live on its site.

“Miley deserves her flowers as she has made a lasting impact on the entertainment industry,” Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said in a statement. “Generations of young girls have grown up watching her evolve, finding inspiration in her journey and fearless creativity.”

Cyrus has had two No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100: “Wrecking Ball” and “Flowers.” She won two Grammys for the latter smash – record of the year and best pop solo performance. She won a third Grammy for best country duo/group performance as a featured artist on Beyoncé’s “II MOST WANTED.”

Cyrus has had four No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 under her own name. They are Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus, Breakout, Hannah Montana: The Movie and Bangerz.

Cyrus also received a Golden Globe nomination for best original song for co-writing “I Thought I Lost You” from Bolt. Her performance as Ashley O in Black Mirror further showed her artistic range.

Cyrus has fronted major campaigns for Maison Margiela, Gucci’s Flora fragrance and Dolce & Gabbana. Cyrus is the founder of the Happy Hippie Foundation, supporting LGBTQ+ youth, and the Miley Cyrus Foundation, dedicated to supporting mothers in all their diversity.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce administers the Walk of Fame for the City of Los Angeles.
