LOS ANGELES — Comedian Conan O’Brien hosted the 2026 Oscars and movies’ biggest night was filled with memorable moments. Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another” took home six Oscars out of 13 nominations. Michael B. Jordan won Best Actor for his performance as twins Smoke and Stack in “Sinners,” and delivered an emotional speech. “Hamnet” star Jessie Buckley scored Best Actress. So, what’s next for Hollywood’s brightest stars after the 98th Academy Awards?

Find out what Elle Fanning, Wunmi Mosaku, Ryan Coogler and more 98th Academy Award nominees and winners are working on next!

Timothée Chalamet was nominated for Best Actor and he’s appearing next in Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune: Part Three,” premiering later this year.

Jordan is leaving vampires behind for animation and is lending his voice for Netflix’s animal adventure in “Swapped.”

Buckley’s award-winning performance as Agnes pulled heartstrings in the drama, and she’s now affecting Frankenstein’s monster in “The Bride!,” in theaters now.

Speaking of Frankenstein, at just 28 Jacob Elordi scared up his first-ever Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor as The Creature in Guillermo del Toro’s “Frankenstein.” Next, he’s tackling the horrors of transitioning from high school to adulthood in HBO’s “Euphoria” Season 3.

Another star heading into a new season of their hit series, “One Battle After Another’s” Teyana Taylor is gearing up for Season 2 of Hulu’s “All’s Fair.” Back in December, the Best Supporting Actress Oscar nominee opened up to On The Red Carpet about her cast, “Going in, meeting amazing women, and finishing out with a sisterhood. It’s beautiful.”

Kate Hudson scored her second-ever Oscar nomination (first nod in 2001 for Best Supporting Actress in “Almost Famous”) for Best Actress for her role as Claire Sardina in the 2025 musical drama “Song Sung Blue.” She’s next starring in the rom-com “Hello & Paris” with 2026 Academy Award presenter Javier Bardem.

Ethan Hawke nabbed his first Best Actor Oscar nomination for playing lyricist Lorenz Hart in “Blue Moon.” He’s now set to tackle “The Weight,” a movie based during the Great Depression, which is exactly what he was hoping to work on next. “I wanted to do an old-fashioned movie about old-fashioned values,” Hawke told On The Red Carpet at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.

Brad Pitt just finished racing in “F1,” which won the Oscar for Best Sound. He’s heading back to Hollywood for “The Adventures of Cliff Booth,” the sequel to Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”

“One Battle After Another” earned Best Picture at the Academy Awards and its star Leonardo DiCaprio is co-starring with Jennifer Lawrence in Martin Scorsese’s next film, “What Happens at Night.”

Rose Byrne nabbed her first-ever Oscar nomination for Best Actress for her dramatic performance as Linda in the movie “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.” The actress is going from one drama to another. Next up for her is ” Tow, ” which is based on a true story of an unhoused woman named Amanda who fights to reclaim her impounded car. Last month, Bryne told On The Red Carpet, “For her to go toe-to-toe with this huge company against all odds, all odds, is really a great story.”

Elle Fanning scored her first-ever Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Rachel Kemp in the Norwegian movie “Sentimental Value.” The film won at the 2026 Oscars for Best International Feature Film. Next up for the 27-year-old actress is appearing on Apple TV+’s “Margo’s Got Money Troubles.”

“Sinners” star Wunmi Mosaku scored her first-ever Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal as Annie in Ryan Coogler’s vampire horror movie. She’s now gearing up for “The Social Network” sequel, “The Social Reckoning,” coming out this October.

For “Sinners” director Ryan Coogler, “The Truth Is Out There.” His movie made Academy Award history by earning a record-breaking 16 nominations, and took home four trophies. Next, Coogler’s sticking with horror and developing a new “The X-Files” reboot for Hulu. The pilot has been greenlit, with Danielle Deadwyler set to star.
