Happy New Year and maybe more importantly in Hollywood, happy awards season. 2026 is already off to a fast start with the Palm Springs International Film Awards and Critics Choice Awards this past weekend, and Sunday’s Golden Globes are rapidly approaching. Ahead of the big night, check out all of the celebrations for this year’s TV and film contenders, as 10 weeks of high-speed awards action gets underway.

Helen Mirren and Sarah Jessica Parker will receive, respectively, the Cecil B. DeMille Award and the Carol Burnett Award in a ceremony for the Golden Globes’ special honors ahead of the main telecast. The Golden Eve show airs two days later, Thursday on CBS and Paramount+.
