Hamnet was named best motion picture, drama, at the 83rd annual Golden Globes, which were handed out Sunday night. The film’s Jessie Buckley was named best actress.

One Battle After Another nabbed the award for best motion picture, comedy or musical. The film scooped three more awards, including best supporting actress for Teyana Taylor and best director and best screenplay for Paul Thomas Anderson.

Rose Byrne won best actress in a comedy or musical for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, while Timothée Chalamet won the best actor award for Marty Supreme. Wagner Moura won best actor in a drama for The Secret Agent, and Stellan Skarsgard took home the award for best supporting actor for Sentimental Value.

“Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters was named best song — motion picture, while the film won for best animated movie. The Secret Agent was named best non-English-language film.

Ludwig Göransson won best score for Sinners (a category that was not presented on-camera); the film also took home the award for best cinematic and box office achievement.

In the TV categories, The Pitt was named best drama series, while Noah Wyle won best actor in a drama series for the show. Rhea Seehorn won best actress in a drama for Pluribus.

The Studio was named best series — musical or comedy, while Seth Rogen won best actor for his role in the series. Jean Smart won best actress in a musical or comedy series for Hacks.

Adolescence won the Globe for best limited series, anthology series or TV movie. Owen Cooper set a record with his best supporting actor win for the show, with Stephen Graham and Erin Doherty also landing Globes for their roles. An absent Michelle Williams won for Dying for Sex.

Good Hang With Amy Poehler won the inaugural award for best podcast. Ricky Gervais, who also was not at the show, won best performance in stand-up comedy in TV for Ricky Gervais: Mortality.

Nikki Glaser served as host of the show, which aired live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+ in the U.S., for a second consecutive year. (Find out more details on how to stream the show. Also, check out the star-studded red-carpet arrivals and see the best-dressed stars of the night.)

Golden Globes producer Dick Clark Productions lined up a star-studded list of presenters for Sunday’s show. Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner of White Cherry Entertainment returned as executive producing showrunners for the 2026 Golden Globes. DCP, which planned, hosted and produced the event, is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a joint venture between Penske Media Corporation and Eldridge that also owns The Hollywood Reporter.
