In a spacious sound-stage filled with guests, Jonathan Nolan, writer and producer, praised California’s tax incentives that attracted Amazon Prime’s series ‘Fallout’ to the state. Originally shot in New York, the series found a new home in California with a generous $25 million tax rebate for its second season.

Nolan stressed the pivotal role of tax credits, highlighting how essential they were in keeping the production local. He played a key role in advocating for $750 million in tax rebates, which helped secure jobs for 600 crew members and 30 actors in the third season.

California’s entertainment sector has struggled with declining employment as productions moved overseas for cost savings. Nolan and actor Walton Goggins underscored the cultural impact of preserving Hollywood’s legacy, urged for continued support of tax incentives to revive and sustain local industry jobs.
