The 79th annual Tony Awards celebrated the best productions and performances on Broadway at Radio City Music Hall, with winners announced across 26 competitive categories for the 2025-26 season. A total of 24 Broadway productions competed at this year’s ceremony, which also included special performances paying tribute to The Book of Mormon, Chicago and A Chorus Line.

Leading the nominations were the musicals The Lost Boys and Schmigadoon!, with 12 nods each. The revival of Ragtime followed with 11 nominations, while Death of a Salesman and Cats: The Jellicle Ball earned nine nominations each. Among the winners, Ragtime took Best Revival of a Musical as well as the leading actor and actress prizes in a musical, while Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman won Best Revival of a Play and multiple other honours.

The acting winners included Joshua Henry for Ragtime in Best Leading Actor in a Musical and Caissie Levy for Ragtime in Best Leading Actress in a Musical. Lesley Manville won Best Leading Actress in a Play for Oedipus, while John Lithgow took Best Leading Actor in a Play for Giant.
