Hollywood Casino Joliet will welcome an illusionist, a rock band and legendary violinists in coming months, with performances scheduled through the end of November.
Three recently-announced acts will perform on the following dates:
- Sept. 11 – The Magic of Rob Lake
- Nov. 13 – Black Violin: The Be Free Tour
- Nov. 21 – Hairball
“From Rob Lake and Black Violin to Hairball and more, the upcoming performances showcase an exciting mix of entertainment with something for every guest,” Ruben Warren, vice president and general manager of Hollywood Casino Joliet said in a news release. “We’re excited to continue building on that momentum with additional announcements in the coming months and are thrilled to have many acts booked through the end of the fall.”
Broadway star, headliner and NBC’s “World’s Greatest Illusionist,” Lake is internationally renowned for his award-winning productions, according to the news release. He has performed on the Las Vegas Strip, the Dubai Opera House, Atlantis Paradise in the Bahamas and in theaters across more than 60 countries.
On The Be Free Tour, Grammy-nominated duo Will Baptiste and Kev Marcus, together known as Black Violin, blend soaring strings with bold beats in a high-energy performance. The tour celebrates individuality, creativity and connection, merging the duo’s classical training with the pulse of hip-hop to create a powerful performance.
Celebrating 26 years, Hairball continues to deliver an electrifying tribute to some of the biggest names in ’80s arena rock, including Van Halen, KISS, Mötley Crüe, Queen and more. Complete with pyrotechnics, lights, and larger-than-life recreations of iconic performers, the show promises a high-energy live music experience.
