Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day has crossed the ₦2.1 billion mark at the Nigerian box office, setting a new record for Hollywood releases in the country.
The film, distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, reaches the milestone after spending six consecutive weekends at the number-one spot, with screenings continuing in cinemas nationwide.
The latest figure follows a strong theatrical run that has seen the superhero film break several box-office records since its release.
FilmOne Entertainment announced the milestone on social media, describing the film as the highest-grossing Hollywood title of all time in Nigeria.
The distributor also said the movie remains in cinemas across the country as audiences continue to turn out for the film.
Spider-Man Brand New Day recorded a major opening in Nigeria, earning more than ₦700 million during its opening weekend, including preview screenings.
Its performance has since continued to climb, taking the film beyond the ₦2 billion mark and placing it among the biggest box-office successes recorded in the Nigerian cinema market.
The film is still showing in cinemas nationwide.
