[NoHo Arts District, CA] – A NoHo Arts 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival review of Adult Baby Doll, Harper-Rose Drummond’s outrageously funny improvised stand-up musical comedy featuring Greg Hoffman on piano.
Harper-Rose Drummond is Adult Baby Doll in this side-splittingly hilarious improvised stand-up musical accompanied on the piano by the incredible Greg Hoffman, who also co-wrote the songs with Harper-Rose.
The two, mostly led by Harper-Rose, ricochet and careen from one song to another via the comedic diatribes and meanderings of one crazy and absolutely brilliant mind – Harper-Rose Drummond.
The theatre was packed, so word had clearly got around the Hollywood Fringe about this particular show. I had no idea what to expect at all. But from the first few minutes, I knew I had found my new favorite comic! I am always amazed by the talent at Fringe, but Harper-Rose and her faithful sidekick Greg are just the best example of ‘enjoy what you do’ that I have ever found. Both of them crack each other up constantly; nothing is out of bounds, and that kind of danger makes for the best comedy.
As she shimmies and shines her way through song after fantastic, clever and shocking song, we laugh and we cry because we are laughing so much.
And what a gorgeous voice!!! I was astounded by her comedic skills, her fearless improv, and the incredible support from her Greg. Everyone needs a Greg, in fact. And Greg has no one to blame for this fact but himself. Is he rentable? I will await Harper-Rose’s response since she is clearly the owner here.
I cannot wait for everyone else in the world to know Harper-Rose Drummond and Greg Hoffman and their exquisite Adult Baby Doll. They are perfection!
