All the Celebrities in Attendance at World Cup Final 2026

Sunday’s World Cup Final will go down as the most star-studded championship match in FIFA history as New York-New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, was packed with celebrities from film, TV, music, sports and more.

Catching the action between Argentina and Spain were Tom Cruise, Matt Damon and wife Luciana (celebrating the colossal opening of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey), Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Rihanna and ASAP Rocky, David Beckham and wife Victoria, Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart, Austin Butler, Serena Williams, Pharrell Williams, Javier Bardem, Jon Hamm, Odessa A’zion, Scott Eastwood, Mr. Beast, Adrien Brody, Trevor Noah, Richard Gere, New York Knicks champs Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns, rapper Future (fresh with a No. 1 album with The Real Me), San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama, Jason Sudeikis, Julia Garner, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, Rob Gronkowski, Gayle King, Anya Taylor-Joy, Anna Wintour, Vogue’s Chloe Malle, Michael Rubin and more. (There were so many stars in attendance that broadcasters got confused who was who with one host mistakenly referred to Damon as Brad Pitt before quickly correcting himself.)

President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump shared a VIP suite with FIFA president Gianni Infantino, Mexico’s president Claudia Sheinbaum, Canada’s prime minister Mark Carney, Spain’s King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, Spain’s prime minister Pedro Sanchez and Spain’s Football Federation president Rafael Louzán.

Cruise, who is already on the promo trail for his upcoming film Digger, had a prominent role in the festivities as he appeared on the field to deliver opening remarks. He spoke during the starry ceremony ahead of the match-up that also featured performances from Post Malone with Swae Lee, Jennifer Hudson with the national anthem and Robbie Williams, Laura Pausini and Nicole Scherzinger with the World Cup anthem “Desire.”

“More than 30 days ago, 48 nations began a journey,” Cruise said. “They crossed oceans, they crossed borders, they crossed cultures and together they showed us why this game belongs to the world. From three countries across them and from every corner of the globe, we have witnessed greatness. And we have shared in moments of joy, moments of hope and moments we will never forget. Football is a language spoken without words, a force that unites people, that turns strangers into friends and reminds us of what we all have in common.”

Cruise closed by saying, “As we gather for one final chapter, let us celebrate a tournament that brought the world together. Let us celebrate each other. This is football. This is unity. This is greatness.”
