Ariana Grande is embracing the golden age of Hollywood for her next music video.

During the New York City stop of her Eternal Sunshine Tour on Saturday (July 18), the 33-year-old pop star and actress paused her show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center to premiere a 25-second teaser for the black-and-white visual accompanying the title track from her upcoming album, Petals.

More from Billboard

The clip opens with a gloved starlet standing on the Hollywood Walk of Fame while holding a vintage-style “wanted” ad from “Fame Inc.” seeking aspiring actors for film and television roles.

“Major Studios are calling for new faces who can follow directions and have a good personality,” the advertisement reads.

The film noir-inspired teaser then cuts to a cracked Hollywood Walk of Fame star with a single flower growing from its center as the hopeful actress runs across it in white heels. A shadowy figure appears smoking a cigarette before the “Petals” title flashes across the screen, revealing the silhouette of Grande — sporting her signature ponytail — rehearsing amid studio lights.

The teaser closes in true old Hollywood fashion with the words, “Shot Entirely On… VistaVision.”

After debuting the teaser during the concert, Grande shared it on Instagram, tagging director Christian Breslauer, who has helmed several of her previous music videos. She also tagged choreographer Will Loftis and songwriter-producer Ilya Salmanzadeh.

“Petals” will serve as the second single and music video from Grande’s upcoming album, following “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in June.

Scheduled for release on July 31, Petals arrives two years after Eternal Sunshine, which spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and produced the Hot 100 chart-toppers “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends.”

Grande is about halfway through her 41-date Eternal Sunshine Tour, which is on track to gross $100 million. She returns to Barclays Center for a second show on Sunday (July 19) before heading to Boston for a three-night run at TD Garden.
