Brad Pitt seems quite interested in AI usage. Interestingly, he also believes that Artificial Intelligence will solve one of Hollywood’s biggest problems.

Hollywood movies often face budget constraints. Whether it’s the filming location or the advanced visual effects, producers often have to invest heavily. These factors combined can result in a movie getting stalled or even cancelled. Sometimes, the quality can also get affected with a restrained budget. But the 62-year-old actor has an innovative solution. He is pushing for the limited use of AI to make life a bit easier.

In an interaction with Esquire, Pitt said, “There’s a lot of pushback against Al, but Al is going to be the very thing that, if used as a tool, is going to help these mid-budget films, forty- to ninety-million-dollar budgeted films, get made.”

Brad Pitt draws a line between Al and human performance

Continuing his analysis of implementing artificial intelligence in movies, Pitt also drew a parallel with human performance. The 62-year-old explained, “Who’s saying, ‘I want to see this emotion from him, and then being able to mine through whatever AI provides and going, ‘More in this direction’ and tailoring it in that way. So they could, but the final product might not be my choices and what I found and discovered in the thing.”

The Hollywood star then shared an experience when he came across a song that was completely done by artificial intelligence. While Pitt admitted that he really enjoyed listening to it, he also noted a “repetitive” pattern in the music. Pitt clarified how a human voice would have had more emotion compared to AI.

To further prove his point, the Bullet Train actor said, “I saw a show the other week in Paris. I saw Flea and Thom Yorke get up onstage and they did Marvin Gaye. With Flea’s jazz band. Ohhh, it was off the charts, full of joy.”
