DC fans will fill their boots at this year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios have unveiled details of its industry showcase, which will include the world premiere of Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall, the new DC Studios’ multi-part animated film event, as well as exclusive first looks and behind-the-scenes sneak peeks into DC Universe series including Mister Miracle, My Adventures with Green Lantern, Starfire!, Creature Commandos and Batman: Caped Crusader.

Batman: Knightfall, produced by WB Animation, DC Studios and Warner Home Entertainment, is a three-feature animated series based on the iconic 1993–1994 Batman story arc focused on the Batman villain Bane, that partly served as the inspiration for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises (2012).

Peter Safran, co-chairman and co-CEO at DC Studios, and Sam Register, president at Warner Bros. Animation, Cartoon Network Studios and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, will host the studio’s Annecy panel together with executive producers Tom King (Mister Miracle), Rick Morales (Creature Commandos), Jake Wyatt (My Adventures with Green Lantern), Josie Campbell (Starfire!) and Matt Beans (DC Super Powers).

Beyond the DC verse, Cartoon Network will give a deep dive into its new Adult Swim series, SuperMutant Magic Academy; Warner Bros. Animation and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe will preview their two original half-hour comedies, Living the Dream and Keeping Up With The Joneses.

The former, produced by Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe for Netflix, is an eight-part workplace sitcom about two best friends navigating dead-end social media jobs at an eco-startup called “Ecofood” in London. Keeping Up With The Joneses, made for Adult Swim, follows the Newberry family as they try to “keep up” with their staggeringly wealthy Dallas neighbors — including the one next door, Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys.

The 2026 Annecy Film Festival runs June 21 – 27.
