Iconic country singer, songwriter, actress and entrepreneur Dolly Parton died Tuesday. She was 80. A rep for Parton announced that she died peacefully in Nashville. Parton revealed back in September of last year that she was postponing a set of Las Vegas concerts to deal with, quote, “some health challenges,” moving the dates from December 2025 to September 2026. She later canceled the scheduled concert dates in May of this year. Over the past few months, she put on a brave front, telling her fans that she was OK.
