Faye Webster is bringing her delightfully unconventional festival to Los Angeles this fall. The Faye Webster Invitational will take over Hollywood from September 25–27, bringing together live music and some of the singer-songwriter’s favorite hobbies.
Now in its third year, the Invitational has previously taken place in Berkeley and Atlanta. This year’s edition will be its biggest yet, with four signature events: LVBL (LiveBall) tennis, chess, yoyo, and Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG).
The event is hosted in partnership with Goldenvoice, with most of the weekend happening at The Fonda Theatre. The LVBL tennis tournament will take place at a separate location that has yet to be announced.
There will also be an exclusive Invitational merchandise pop-up inside The Fonda Theatre, where attendees can shop event merch available only during the weekend.
Who is Faye Webster?
Faye Webster is an Atlanta-born singer-songwriter known for blending indie rock, folk, country, and R&B into her distinctive sound.
She began making music at a young age and released her debut album, Run & Tell, at 16. She later gained wider attention with albums including Atlanta Millionaires Club and Underdressed at the Symphony, as well as songs like “Kingston” and “I Know You.”
Outside of music, Webster is also a photographer and an avid yoyo enthusiast, which helps explain the unique mix of music and hobbies at her annual Invitational.

Daytime: Pokémon Trading Card Game Tournament

The Invitational is adding a new competition this year with its first-ever Pokémon TCG tournament.
Evening: Faye Webster, Laila! + Yoyo Showcase

Faye Webster will perform with her full band, with special guest Laila! The evening will also feature a yoyo exhibition showcasing some of the world’s top yoyo masters.

Daytime: Chess Tournament

Sunday’s daytime festivities will bring a chess tournament to The Fonda.

How to get tickets to the Faye Webster Invitational
Tickets for the Saturday and Sunday evening shows go on sale Friday, August 7 at 10 a.m. PDT. A ticket to either concert also includes access to the daytime tournaments happening throughout the weekend.
Presale registration opened August 4, with the presale beginning August 5. Details on how to register for the individual tournaments will be announced in the coming weeks.
