FORT WORTH, TX — When Hollywood rolls out the red carpet to celebrate its biggest night on March 15, 2026, Fort Worth’s film community won’t be watching from their couches. They’ll be at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth for the city’s premier celebration of cinema: Awards Night at The Modern.

Presented by The Reel House Foundation and sponsored by the Fort Worth Film Commission, Lone Star Film Festival, and The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, this event transforms the museum into a hub of high-fashion and high-definition viewing.

Guests will experience the awards ceremony broadcast live in the Modern’s iconic, state-of-the-art theater. Between the winning speeches, the evening offers a blend of interactive fun and cinematic style:

  • The Red Carpet Experience: Step in front of the lens with professional photography and strike a pose with a real film statuette.
  • The Ballot Contest: Think you know who’s taking home the gold? Cast your vote for a chance to win prizes including tickets to the Lone Star Film Festival, Dallas International Film Festival, and the Asian Film Festival of Dallas. Local filmmakers can also win a studio day at BLANC Studios.
  • Live Commentary: Engaging conversation and insights during commercial breaks to keep the energy high.
  • Refreshments: A premium cash bar and curated snacks will be available in the Modern’s stunning lobby.

“This isn’t just a watch party,” say event organizers. “It’s a moment for Fort Worth’s film community to come together, celebrate the art of storytelling, and look good doing it.”

While the evening is about glitz and glamour, the impact is strictly local. A $25 suggested donation for admission directly supports The Reel House Foundation’s mission to provide free family film screenings for underserved Fort Worth youth throughout 2026. Through partnerships with ACH Child and Family Services, Girls Inc. of Tarrant County, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and The WARM Place, the foundation ensures cinema is accessible to children and families who might not otherwise have the opportunity.

In the spirit of community, the foundation maintains an “all-access” policy: no one will be turned away for an inability to donate, though an RSVP is required to secure a seat.
