Global supergroup BTS is already making history with its long-awaited new album, Arirang.

(CNN)- Global supergroup BTS is already making history with its long-awaited new album, Arirang. The release is now Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day so far this year — and the most-streamed K-pop album of all time on the platform.

The project marks BTS’s first full-length album since 2020, fueling excitement among fans worldwide and quickly pushing the group back to the top of the global charts.

Meanwhile, the new sci-fi film Project Hail Mary is off to a strong start in theaters.

The movie delivered a huge opening weekend and is earning praise from both critics and audiences. Star Ryan Gosling says much of the success comes from directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

“I think what Chris and Phil are uniquely good at is that they can elicit the, like, coveted laugh-cry,” Gosling said. “They make you laugh, they make you cry… and by the end of the movie you’re doing both at the same time.”
