Churchill High School graduate and Emmy Award-winning actor Jeff Hiller doesn’t shy away from his San Antonio roots. In an interview shared on social media, the Widow’s Bay star recently talked about one of his hometown favorites — breakfast tacos.
The team at Hollywood Hits, a program on KCWX, sat down with Hiller, who shared his current go-to breakfast taco order.
“I like, for breakfast, I like two bean and cheese, and then, it used to be bacon and egg, but now I don’t eat meat,” Hiller said in a clip posted to Instagram that’s garnered over 30,000 views.
The San Antonio native turned Hollywood actor went on to acknowledge that the beans used in breakfast tacos are often not vegetarian, joking that that’s between him and his God. The Somebody Somewhere star also mentioned that he enjoyed a potato, egg and cheese taco with salsa, emphasizing that he prefers his breakfast tacos on a flour tortilla.
The interviewer, Denise Cabello, asked a follow-up question about what tacos Hiller might order for an evening meal, to which the actor said that he might end up ordering a taco with the vegetables that usually pair with fajitas.
“You know how people have Meatless Mondays? My new thing is I’m gonna do like a Meat Monday,” Hiller said between bouts of laughter.
Hiller previously spoke with MySA in June 2025, following the release of his memoir, Actress of a Certain Age: My Twenty Year Trail to Overnight Success. He won the Primetime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series” later that year.
