It’s been nearly seven years since Hollywood Vampires released new music, but that drought could soon be coming to an end.
The rock supergroup, featuring Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, and Joe Perry, took to Instagram this week with a message that immediately caught fans’ attention, teasing that fresh material is on the way.
“CALLING ALL VAMPS!” the band wrote. “As we are gearing up for more music drops, do us a favor and please subscribe to the official Hollywood Vampires YouTube Channel!”
While the group stopped short of announcing a release date or revealing details about an upcoming album, the post appears to confirm that new music is officially in the works.
Hollywood Vampires Are Teasing Their First New Music in Years
The band’s most recent studio album, Rise, arrived in 2019 and featured original songs alongside the group’s signature blend of hard rock influences. Since then, the band has toured sporadically, with scheduling conflicts and the COVID-19 pandemic delaying plans over the years.
They are currently in the midst of a European tour.
Now, fans finally have reason to believe the next chapter is approaching.
Although the Instagram post doesn’t specify whether the upcoming releases will be standalone singles, an EP, or a full-length album, the phrase “more music drops” suggests listeners can expect multiple releases.
A Supergroup Built on Rock Legends
Formed in 2012 by Alice Cooper, actor and musician Johnny Depp, and Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, Hollywood Vampires pays tribute to the legendary rock stars who inspired them.
Named after Cooper’s famous celebrity drinking club from the 1970s, the band blends classic rock influences with original material while frequently honoring artists like The Who, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and The Doors.
Over the years, the group has attracted an impressive list of collaborators, including Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Joe Walsh, Slash, Jeff Beck, Brian Johnson, and Perry Farrell.
