Vogue World has taken place in some pretty remarkable places since 2022 (who can forget Cara Delevingne hosting last year’s edition in Paris; Annie Lennox and the Supers turning up in London; or Serena Williams in Balenciaga in New York?)—but this year’s event in Hollywood proved to be bigger (and starrier!) than ever before. The Vogue World: Hollywood runway featured a mix of original costumes by Colleen Atwood, Milena Canonero, Ruth E. Carter, Catherine Martin, Arianne Phillips, Sandy Powell, Jacqueline West, and Shirley Kurata, and new interpretations of classic movie looks, created by McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Alaïa, Marc Jacobs, Valentino, and Balmain.
Additionally, Fear of God’s Jerry Lorenzo has designed an exclusive eight-piece Vogue World: Hollywood capsule celebrating iconic Los Angeles landmarks. The limited-edition pieces are available at fearofgod.com and in-store at Maxfield LA, with 100% of Vogue’s proceeds benefiting the Entertainment Community Fund.
What other creative talents worked on Vogue World: Hollywood?
Fatima Robinson, known for her work with Beyoncé and Lenny Kravitz, led choreography; Aron Forbes and Derek Renfroe of Sounds We Feel oversaw the music; Jess Gonchor, known for his work on Little Women and The Devil Wears Prada, led set design; Marie Julie Craeymeersch of Mode and the Moon led production; Jen Green of Genevieve Productions was the run-of-show producer; Pepe Avila del Pino served as consulting cinematographer; Juan Costa Paz of Convoy served as creative director; and Stephen Galloway was the show’s movement director.
Additionally, Pat McGrath Labs returned as Vogue World: Hollywood’s official makeup brand, with Dame Pat McGrath leading makeup design and execution. Hair styling was led by Jimmy Paul with Kérastase as the event‘s official hair partner. Deborah Lippmann did the nails.
