From Jennette McCurdy’s blockbuster memoir to Miranda Cosgrove’s producer pivot, here is exactly where the cast of iCarly is right now.

Updated for 2026. It has been more than a decade since Carly Shay, Sam Puckett, and Freddie Benson signed off from their webcast in the original iCarly finale — and the better part of three years since the Paramount+ revival quietly wrapped its third and final season in 2023. The good news for fans: the cast has spent the years since doing some of the most interesting work of their careers, from a record-shattering memoir to indie horror, beauty brands, and a surprise return to the franchise.

Miranda Cosgrove (Carly Shay)

Miranda Cosgrove has spent the post-reboot era leaning into the producer chair. After iCarly (2021–2023) wrapped on Paramount+, Cosgrove reprised her role as Margo in Despicable Me 4 (2024) — Universal’s second-highest-grossing film of the year — and signed a first-look development deal aimed at female-led comedy. She also continues to host the long-running true-crime podcast Crime Junkie spinoff Mind of a Serial Killer with Ashley Flowers, which has charted in Apple’s top 10 since launch. Heading into 2026 she is attached to a half-hour comedy pilot she is producing and starring in, and finished her psychology degree at USC in 2023.

Jennette McCurdy (Sam Puckett)

Jennette McCurdy authored the most consequential post-iCarly second act of anyone on the call sheet. Her 2022 memoir I’m Glad My Mom Died spent more than a year on the New York Times bestseller list, sold more than two million copies, and is being developed as a limited series at Apple TV+ with McCurdy writing and executive-producing. She has been open that she retired from acting in 2017 and has no plans to return — declining a reported seven-figure offer to appear in the Paramount+ revival. Instead she hosts the Hard Feelings podcast, directs short films (her short Kenny premiered at Sundance in 2023), and teaches writing workshops.

Nathan Kress (Freddie Benson)

Nathan Kress returned as Freddie for all three seasons of the Paramount+ revival and has quietly become one of the show’s most prolific behind-the-camera talents — he directed multiple episodes of both the original series and the reboot, plus episodes of Henry Danger, Game Shakers, and Danger Force. Off screen, Kress and wife London Elise welcomed their third daughter in 2024. He has spent 2025 directing on a half-hour Disney series and recently signed on to direct an indie feature scheduled to shoot in early 2026.

Jerry Trainor (Spencer Shay)

Jerry Trainor also came back for the revival as a chaotic-good adult Spencer and has stayed firmly in the Nickelodeon family — he stars opposite Jace Norman in the Henry Danger spinoff Danger Force, which entered its fifth season in 2025. Trainor also voices the title character in Nickelodeon’s animated The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish. In 2024 he made his Off-Broadway debut in a revival of True West, drawing the kind of reviews that politely surprised everyone who only knew him as Spencer.

Noah Munck (Gibby Gibson)

Noah Munck chose not to return for the Paramount+ reboot and has spent the last several years pivoting into electronic music and indie film. He releases music under the alias NoxiK, has scored multiple indie features, and appeared in the 2023 A24 horror The Quiet Ones as well as the Hulu series Reboot. Munck also runs a successful Twitch channel and has been transparent about choosing a lower-key creative life over a return to network television.

Laci Mosley (Harper) and Jaidyn Triplett (Millicent)

The reboot’s breakout new additions have kept busy. Laci Mosley continues to host the hit podcast Scam Goddess — now a Hulu series she executive-produces and stars in (premiered 2024) — and joined the cast of Apple TV+’s Loot for its third season. Jaidyn Triplett, who played Freddie’s sharp-tongued stepdaughter Millicent, has appeared in the Disney+ series The Crossover and books her first feature lead in a coming-of-age indie shooting in 2026.

Will There Be More iCarly?

Paramount+ officially canceled the revival in March 2023 after three seasons, with showrunner Ali Schouten citing creative completion rather than ratings. Cosgrove has said in subsequent interviews that she would be open to a reunion movie ‘when the timing is right,’ while McCurdy has been consistent that any Sam appearance is off the table. For now, the spaghetti tacos are staying in the fridge.
