Labrinth is not featured on the music for season three of Euphoria, The Hollywood Reporter can confirm, with Hans Zimmer taking the composer duties on his own.

Zimmer had previously been confirmed to be collaborating with Labrinth for the show’s music, though the notion that Labrinth would participate became murkier a month ago, after he posted a cryptic message online blasting both the show and his record label Columbia Records, writing that “I’m done with this industry.”

Fuck Columbia [Records]. Double fuck Euphoria,” Labrinth wrote at the time. He’s since deleted the post. “I’m out. Thank you and good night x.”

Zimmer previously said that Labrinth “shaped the show’s identity and I’m looking forward to contributing to the ongoing story and helping shape this new season through music.”

Labrinth was instrumental in developing Euphoria’s now-iconic moody, dramatic sound with the music for the show’s first and second seasons. Among the tracks he performed were “Forever,” “Still Don’t Know My Name” and “I Never Felt So Alone,” the latter of which featured Billie Eilish and received a Grammy nomination. Reps for Labrinth declined to comment.

Rolling Stone first confirmed the news of Labrinth not being featured on the new season. The outlet had spoken with show director Sam Levinson and asked about the split, with Levinson saying he didn’t know what had caused the rift. “He’s an incredible collaborator and someone who really built the foundation of the sound of Euphoria,” Levinson said.

Outside of Euphoria, Labrinth will play Coachella this weekend, set to play on the outdoor theater stage at 8:30 p.m. Euphoria itself premieres this Sunday, and HBO is hosting a screening of the first episode on site for Coachella-goers as well.
