Miley Cyrus‘ upcoming pair of Hollywood Bowl shows has some of the most sought after tickets in live music landscape, as the pop superstar has drawn 1.5 million people to her pre-sale queues, show organizers said Wednesday.

For reference, the historic Hollywood venue seats about 18,000 people, reflecting an overwhelming number of people looking to score tickets for Cyrus’ shows. It’s an impressive feat, though not necessarily surprising given that Cyrus hasn’t played a proper concert tour in over a decade, with the exception of a brief 11-date festival tour in 2021 and 2022.

Cyrus is playing two shows in October in support of her upcoming 10th album, Bass Persuades, set for release next week. Bass Persuades will mark her debut with WMG’s Atlantic Records after she’d spent most of her career under the Sony Music umbrella, most recently at Columbia Records.

The album comes at a period of significant change for Cyrus. Her godmother Dolly Parton died after a brief battle with cancer in August, and Cyrus posted an emotional tribute to the icon the next day. Cyrus is also now referring to herself mononymously as Miley; her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, voiced his support for the re-brand last week.

“I told @miley yesterday I felt good about her going with her first name,” Cyrus wrote on X. “I mentioned Dolly and Cher. Thinkin about it more and more … Elvis .. Prince …and so on. It’s a natural progression for an iconic superstar legend.”

Cyrus dropped Bass Persuades‘ title track as the album’s lead single last week. Per Atlantic, it was the most-added song across U.S. radio this week. It also debuted at Number One on Spotify’s Top Songs Debut.
