Cyrus’ star will be located at 7011 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood. The ceremony will also be streamed live on the Walk of Fame’s official website. Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said in a statement that “Miley deserves her flowers as she has made a lasting impact on the entertainment industry.” She added that generations of young girls have grown up watching the singer evolve and find inspiration in her journey.

Cyrus has earned two No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 with songs Wrecking Ball and Flowers. She won two Grammy Awards for Flowers, taking home Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. She later secured a third Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance as a featured artist on Beyoncé’s song II MOST WANTED.

The singer has also topped the Billboard 200 with albums released under her own name. Beyond music, she received a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Original Song after co-writing I Thought I Lost You for the animated film Bolt.

Cyrus also showcased her acting range through her role as Ashley O in Black Mirror. Outside entertainment, Cyrus has fronted major campaigns for luxury brands including Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana. She also founded the Happy Hippie Foundation, which supports diversity and young people
