Even when a studio invests millions of dollars on a movie and attaches bona fide stars and acclaimed directors to a production, that doesn’t mean anything unless that movie performs well at the box office. Critics and moviegoers certainly don’t care about how much money was poured into production or the long hours spent to make sure the movie is a success.
