Teyana Taylor has booked a new lead role as the face of Alaïa’s new summer/fall 2026 campaign.

The Oscar-nominated breakout star of Paul Thomas Anderson‘s best picture winner One Battle After Another strikes multiple poses for lensman David Sims in curve-hugging creations by the French luxury fashion house founded by Azzedine Alaïa. Those include signature second-skin knit dresses, a metallic-embellished mini dress and a jersey design featuring anatomical cut-outs to define her waist.

“As someone who’s loved Alaïa for a long time, being part of this campaign felt really special. The collection pulled me in right away. It’s bold, it’s feminine, but there’s a strength to it that I really connect with,” Taylor said in a statement. “I’ve always loved fashion that lets a woman own who she is without having to say too much. David captured that confidence in a way that feels very natural to me. Strong, sensual and completely in the spirit of Alaïa.”

Sims led both the photography and video direction on a creative team that also included Aleksandra Woroniecka with creative direction and styling, Rio Sreedharan as hairstylist, and Yadim Carranza as makeup artist.

The house shared the news on Monday, praising Taylor’s mix of talents and how they translated to the images. “Her sense of movement, shaped by dance and performance, resonates naturally with Alaïa, where clothing is designed to reveal and celebrate the female silhouette.”

It’s not the first time Taylor has slipped into Alaïa creations. She previously wore the brand for events such as Variety’s Creative Impact Awards in Palm Springs earlier this year, and in 2025 while promoting the film Straw in New York City.
