Anonymous Hard Rock Player Scoops Up $1.14M
According to Hard Rock’s official announcement, the guest in question won their jackpot on Sunday, August 9. The win happened at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Hard Rock International’s flagship resort.
The incredibly lucky visitor ended up winning the $1,143,913.90 Dragon Link progressive jackpot, becoming the latest millionaire created by the casino.
Hard Rock revealed that the player in question had been wagering $25 on a $1 denomination when they hit the life-changing prize.
Progressive jackpots feature a prize that increases the more players bet. Since the prize was just won, it has now been reset to its base sum of $1 million.
For reference, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood boasts a 150,000-square-foot gaming area with some 2,700 slot machines. The property is operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Hard Rock brand.
