Seth Rogen took to the BAFTA TV Awards stage on Sunday to pick up the best international series honor for The Studio, paying homage to his late co-star Catherine O’Hara, who died in January.

“I’d be remiss not to mention one of the key parts of the show, Catherine O’Hara,” he said. “She meant so much to all of us.” And Rogen, holding up the BAFTA trophy, concluded in addressing the London crowd: “I assume her work has been so important to you all over here as it was to us. So this is for Catherine.”

Rogen started his acceptance speech by highlighting: “I really didn’t expect that to happen at all. And when you make a comedy, and you’re up against dramas, especially, it feels really good to beat them. I have to say, it doesn’t happen that often. It’s a rare, rarefied thing.”

Of course, he didn’t go without jokes. The star lauded the British TV ceremony and its audience by saying: “This award show is so cool. Thank you for having us here.” He then pointed to the ceremony, and Taskmaster, host Greg Davies, who sat on the side of the stage, saying: “This guy sits there in a little chair. I’ve never seen that. I think that’s cool.”

He also referenced an on-stage appearance by Celia Imrie earlier in the awards show, which had recalled a famous The Celebrity Traitors scene that saw the veteran actress surprise everyone on the show and watching it. “What just happened?” host Claudia Winkleman asked at some point during that episode. “I just farted, Claudia. It’s nerves, but I always own up,” Imrie replied, as her on-screen colleagues erupted into laughter. Rogen said on stage that he learned from her BAFTA TV Awards stage appearance earlier that she was clearly “a very skilled and talented woman,” but “all I know is that she farted on a reality.”
