Formerly the Pendry West Hollywood, the Sun Rose cut the ribbon on its new chapter in August 2025. The 149-key hotel takes its new name from its on-site music venue, where it embraces its past as the original address for the House of Blues while ushering in a new era of music history right on the Sunset Strip. Swedish architect Martin Brudnizki ran point on the redesign, dressing the hotel in bold Art Deco interiors and an electric color palette fit for a property stepping into its second wind. It’s all about gathering with others at this social stay, whether you’re vibing with fellow guests at the jewel box sound stage Live at The Sun Rose or toasting on the rooftop at the Moët Bubbles Bar.
