Zoey Deutch and Nick Robinson form a bond over messages that she has left for someone else in the trailer for Netflix‘s romantic comedy feature Voicemails for Isabelle.

Writer-director Leah McKendrick‘s movie debuts on the streaming service June 19. Nick Offerman, Lukas Gage, Harry Shum Jr., Ciara Bravo, Megan Danso, Gil Bellows, Toby Sandeman and Spencer Lord round out the cast.

Voicemails for Isabelle centers on Jill (Deutch), whose grief process following the loss of her titular sister (Bravo) involves leaving heartfelt and vulnerable voicemails on Isabelle’s old number. Unbeknownst to Jill, the messages have been going to Wes (Robinson), a real estate agent who starts to feel a connection with her.

“This random girl has been leaving voicemails on my new work cell,” Robinson tells his friends in the trailer. “They’re for her sister.”

Later, Robinson gets a fuller picture of Deutch’s situation when she says, “I’m just calling you to ask, ‘How am I supposed to do this without you?’ You’re in a better place — probably slurping face with Heath Ledger as we speak, huh? But I miss you.”

McKendrick (Scrambled) helmed the film from her own script. Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch and Becky Sanderman serve as producers. Voicemails for Isabelle has music from Este Haim and Amanda Yamate.

Deutch recently starred in such films as Anniversary and Nouvelle Vague and can be seen this summer in Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass. Robinson starred opposite Lena Headey and Gillian Anderson on the Netflix series The Abadons, and his recent feature credits include Charlie Harper, Snack Shack and Damsel.
