Christopher Nolan‘s latest epic, The Odyssey, is finally in theaters, and true cinephiles have traveled far and wide to watch the film in 70mm IMAX — just how he and the crew filmed it. But most audiences are watching it at their local cinema, just as movies are supposed to be enjoyed!
Some people aren’t able to make it to the theater, though, which leaves them wondering when they can watch the star-studded, action-packed flick at home.

How Long Is The Odyssey Movie?
The Odyssey is nearly three hours long, so be prepared to stay in your seat for a while. The film’s runtime is exactly two hours and 52 minutes.

When Will The Odyssey Come to a Streaming Service?
Universal Pictures has not announced a specific streaming release date yet, but it’s expected to be available to watch at home in late 2026.
Nolan’s last highly successful film, Oppenheimer, was not released for streaming until more than six months after its theatrical release. So, it’s possible that The Odyssey might not be available to stream until early 2027.
Where Will The Odyssey Stream?
Since Universal distributed The Odyssey, most of its productions exclusively release on Peacock sometime after their theatrical run.
