As The Devil Wears Prada 2 continues its rampage in the theaters, a limited set of films is taking to the cinemas. Here’s all you need to know about this week’s releases. 

1. Is God Is

Based on Aleshea Harris’s 2018 play and marking her feature film debut, Is God Is showcases two sisters who seek revenge against their father, who caused burn marks on their skin after being advised by their mother to do so. They must decide how far they are willing to go in this quest.

2. Obsession

One day, Bear buys a supernatural toy, willing his childhood friend Nikki to fall in love with him with the help of it. The two are music store employees, and as quickly as the One Wish Willow grants his wish, he soon regrets it, as she starts getting impossibly obsessed with him, with no chance to deter herself. He learns of the evil at hand right as she begins expressing erratic behavior towards invisible things.
