The Hollywood Bowl has announced that Bryce Dallas Howard will be hosting this year’s John Williams concert. Called Maestro of the Movies: A Tribute to John Williams, this concert will be presented on the weekend of September 4, 5, and 6 at the Hollywood Bowl. David Newman will conduct the three concerts. The concert will include many favorite pieces that were written by John Williams. Many of these will be accompanied by curated clips. This year’s concert will have more than ever before. Below is a look at what will be included in this concert:

- The Cave from Raiders of the Lost Ark *

- Hedwig’s Theme
- Harry’s Wondrous World*
- Throne Room and Finale from Star Wars: A New Hope *
Intermission
- Superman March *
- Olympic Fanfare and Theme
- With Malice Toward None from Lincoln
- Theme from Jurassic Park *
- Theme from Schindler’s List
- Finale from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial *

Along with being a legendary composer, John Williams is also a Disney Legend. He was honored with this distinction during the 2024 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event during the Disney Legends Ceremony. Here is the moment when that happened:
