Aman Beverly Hills, One Beverly Hills and the Golden Globes brought a touch of Hollywood glamour to the Venice Film Festival hosting an exclusive cocktail celebration at Aman Venice that brought together leading talent, industry figures and influential voices from the worlds of cinema, culture and entertainment.
Hosted by Aman Essentials CEO Kristina Romanova and Golden Globes president Helen Hoehne, the intimate evening on September 4 welcomed guests including Pamela Anderson, Emma Corrin, Zoey Deutch, Oscar Isaac, Taika Waititi and Christoph Waltz. Set within the historic interiors of Aman Venice overlooking the Grand Canal, the gathering offered a glitzy meeting point between the international film community and the next chapter of Aman and the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills.
The evening captured an affinity between two destinations whose identities have been shaped by cinema, creativity and culture. Venice provided the setting at the height of its international film festival; Beverly Hills, through Aman Beverly Hills and One Beverly Hills, offered a glimpse of what lies ahead.
“There is a strong connection between Venice and Beverly Hills through their shared relationship with film, culture and creativity. Tonight gave us an opportunity to bring that connection to life — celebrating the Golden Globes here at Aman Venice while looking ahead to the arrival of Aman Beverly Hills,” said Kristina Romanova, CEO of Aman Essentials and co-host of Aman Beverly Hills X Golden Globes event at Aman Venice.
For Hoehne, the most memorable element of the evening was not simply the star power in the room, but the sense of spontaneity and connection that emerged as guests came together during the festival.
She stated, “What a memorable evening in Venice during the Film Festival. The most rewarding moment was when the room stopped feeling like an event and became a genuine gathering—people from across the industry talking, reconnecting and simply enjoying being together. For me, that’s what success looks like: creating a sense of energy and connection that feels unique to Venice and to the magic of the Film Festival, and leaving people with the feeling that they experienced something truly special”
The celebration also offered an early look at One Beverly Hills, a 17.5-acre mixed-use urban destination and residential enclave in the heart of Beverly Hills. Master-planned by Foster + Partners and developed by Cain, the project brings together architecture, nature, hospitality, residences, wellness, retail and dining, with ten acres of botanical gardens and open space designed by RIOS.
One Beverly Hills will be delivered in phases, with the first elements scheduled to begin completion in 2027. The development will be anchored by Aman Beverly Hills, which is scheduled to open in 2028 and will mark Aman’s first U.S. West Coast property.
The development will also encompass the newly re-envisioned Beverly Hilton, the longtime home of the Golden Globes, creating a distinctive connection between the awards’ Hollywood heritage and their future setting within One Beverly Hills.
Aman Beverly Hills will comprise a 78-suite hotel, a limited collection of private residences and the exclusive Aman Club. The 100,000-square-foot club will be centered around culinary programming, wellness and culture. The property will be set within the wider One Beverly Hills landscape, with Aman describing eight acres of lush botanical gardens surrounding the hotel and residences.
Designed by KHA, with landscape architecture by RIOS, Aman Beverly Hills is conceived around a close relationship between architecture and nature. Its residences will feature expansive terraces and private pools and will be fully serviced by Aman, combining residential privacy with the brand’s hospitality.
Among the newly revealed features is a six-bedroom penthouse spanning 31,075 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. The residence includes a 65-foot pool and jacuzzi, a second pool accessed through the owner’s suite, a cinema, gym, multiple kitchens and dedicated wellness spaces.
At One Beverly Hills, up to 45 retail, dining and wellness concepts are planned. Announced offerings include Dolce&Gabbana, Casa Tua Cucina and Los Mochis, forming part of a 200,000-square-foot curated retail and dining programme within the development.
The project will connect the Beverly Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, bringing together two established Beverly Hills addresses within a larger destination shaped around hospitality, culture, dining, wellness and leisure. Ten acres of gardens and open space will form a central element of the masterplan, including public botanical gardens designed by RIOS.
The Venice celebration brought that future into the heart of one of cinema’s most glamorous international gatherings. With Hollywood stars, filmmakers and entertainment figures moving between the festival’s premieres, red carpets and private celebrations, the evening offered a fitting setting for a project whose story is equally rooted in cinema, hospitality and the enduring cultural connection between Venice and Beverly Hills. The Golden Globes ceremony will be held Jan. 10, 2027.
Aman Beverly Hills is scheduled to open in 2028 within the One Beverly Hills development. The property will comprise and the Aman Club, a 100,000-square-foot private club centered around culinary programming, wellness and culture. Aman Beverly Hills will mark Aman’s first U.S. West Coast property.
One Beverly Hills will bring together Aman Beverly Hills, The Beverly Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, alongside retail, dining, wellness and leisure concepts. Phased delivery is scheduled to begin in 2027.
