Gracie Abrams has officially unveiled her third album, as the pop star announced Monday that she’ll be releasing Daughter from Hell on July 17. The album’s lead single, “Hit the Wall,” is set for release on Thursday.

“Whoa whoa whoa,” Abrams posted on Instagram on Monday. Freaking out. I am so ready for it to be yours.”

Daughter from Hell follows Abrams’ 2024 release The Secret of Us, which had peaked at Number 2 on Billboard’s album chart and spawned this hits “Close to You,” “I Love You, I’m Sorry” and “That’s So True,” with the latter two tracks each surpassing a billion streams on Spotify. The album also featured “Us,” a collaboration between Abrams and Taylor Swift, earning a Grammy nomination this past year for best pop duo/group performance.

Abrams previously announced “Hit the Wall” on May 1, telling fans on Instagram that “I love it with everything I have.”

Back in January, Abrams told THR that the upcoming album is “definitely my favorite music I’ve ever made.”

“I feel very closely connected to it,” Abrams said. “I appreciate so much that these albums are time capsules of where I’m at in my life at any given point, but right now it does feel very like me. I hope that whoever finds it, connects with it and that they make it theirs when it’s out one day.”

Aside from her musical career, Abrams is venturing out into film as well, with The Hollywood Reporter previously reporting that she’ll make her film debut in Please, an A24 film from Babygirl director Halina Reijn.
