KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 — Tarung: Unforgiven, which has crossed the RM10 million mark, continues to dominate at No. 1.

Outperforming international releases, the film reinforces the continued strength of local features at the Malaysian box office.

Libang Libu, which held the top spot for two weeks, has since slipped to third place behind Michael in second.

Interest in local productions is also reflected on Netflix, where Astro original Good Boys Go to Heaven currently sits at No. 2, just behind the acclaimed Korean series If Wishes Could Kill.

Cinema line-ups remain packed with major releases, including Mortal Kombat II, The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Salmokji: Whispering Water.

Meanwhile, streaming platforms continue to roll out a strong slate beyond Netflix, including Viu with Aku Pilih Pelangi and Disney+’s second season of Tucci in Italy.
