Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance in Hollywood on Tuesday night at the premiere of “Toy Story 5.”
She showed up on the red carpet alongside the voiceover cast, which included Tom Hanks (Woody), Tim Allen (Buzz Lightyear), Joan Cusack (Jessie), Greta Lee (Lilypad) and Conan O’Brien (Smarty Pants).
After the screening, she took to the stage to perform two songs. For the first time, she performed her original song for the film called “I Knew It, I Knew You,” which she wrote for the movie.

Then she joined singer Randy Newman for a duet of the classic “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.”
At the premiere, Hanks revealed that Swift’s song was a surprise even to him. He said it was “top secret” and joked that it as diabolical that they kept him out of the loop for so long. Hanks, who has been married to his wife Rita Wilson for 38 years, also gave marriage advice to the superstar and her fiancé, Travis Kelce.
“The man must make waffles on Sunday,” he revealed.
“Toy Story 5” is in theaters on June 19.
The theme of the fifth installment of the series is “toys meet tech.”

“Woody (voice of Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voice of Tim Allen), Jessie (voice of Joan Cusack) and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad (voice of Greta Lee), a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie,” according to the description.
Swift told the crowd that “Toy Story 5” is her favorite of all the “Toy Story” movies and called it “a masterpiece.”
