Wes Anderson fans are in for one of the most whimsical weekends Los Angeles has seen all year. From July 10–12, the Hollywood Bowl transforms into Anderson’s meticulously crafted cinematic universe with Music from the Films of Wes Anderson.
It’s a three-night concert event celebrating the director’s unforgettable soundtracks, iconic collaborators, and unmistakable visual style.
Hosted by Bill Murray, the performances bring together an incredible lineup of musicians and actors, including Jeff Goldblum, Beck, Jackson Browne, Jason Schwartzman, Jenny Lewis, Karen O, Rufus Wainwright, Karen Elson, China Forbes, DEVO, and more. Friday and Saturday’s performances will also feature the Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by Thomas Wilkins.
What is Music from the Films of Wes Anderson?
The concert celebrates more than 30 years of Wes Anderson’s films through the music that helped define them. Fans can expect live performances of beloved songs, original film scores by Mark Mothersbaugh and Alexandre Desplat, classical selections featured throughout Anderson’s films, and memorable moments from across his filmography accompanied by clips from the movies themselves.
Rather than simply recreating the soundtracks, the evening is designed as an immersive experience that brings Anderson’s cinematic world to life.
