Danny Glover (79), a Hollywood actor famous for the movie “Ricelewephone Series,” has revealed his fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
Glover appeared on NBC’s Today Show on the 1st (local time) and confessed that he has been suffering from Alzheimer’s disease for many years and that “as the disease progresses, many things will change and change.”
Alzheimer’s disease is a neurodegenerative brain disease that causes dementia.
“I’m still active,” Glover said, “and in some ways I can live with (Alzheimer’s disease).”
Regarding the disclosure of the disease, he said, “It will help remove social stigma.”
He became a huge hit in the 1980s when he collaborated with Mel Gibson in the movie ‘Risselweppon Series’.
After about 40 years of acting, he has been active in more than 170 works, including Predator 2, Saw, and Dream Girls. The most recent feature is the 2023 film The Nutty Nine.
During his acting career, he received four Primetime Emmy nominations and two Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations.
