Key Highlights
Stars lit up the Tony Awards, Tribeca Festival, and Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards as Usher, Teyana Taylor, Meagan Good and more stepped out.
Celebrities spent the week making appearances everywhere from New York and Los Angeles to Brazil and England. As the summer entertainment season continued picking up steam, all the stars gathered for premieres, award shows, and festivals.
In New York City, the 79th Annual Tony Awards brought out stars including Usher, Queen Latifah, Danielle Brooks, Amber Ruffin, Jeremy Pope, Deborah Cox, Lena Waithe, and Law Roach. The Tribeca Festival also kicked off with a strong showing, as H.E.R. attended the opening night premiere of Earth, Wind & Fire, while Teyana Taylor joined Janicza Bravo and A.V. Rockwell for a special conversation presented by CHANEL. Earlier in the week, Kerry Washington, Joy Sunday, Myha’la, Chase Infiniti, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson stepped out for the Gotham Television Awards.
On the West Coast, Keith David was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Hollywood Unlocked’s Impact Awards welcomed guests including Tiffany Haddish, Serayah, Tika Sumpter, Chloe Bailey, Meagan Good, Jonathan Majors, and Kayla Nicole. Meanwhile, Lizzo, Marlon Wayans, Kim Wayans, Anthony Anderson, and Rocsi Diaz celebrated the premiere of Scary Movie.
